The wood fines were chunks run through a hammer mill with 2mm and 6mm screens.

It took about 45 seconds to run a ½ pound scoop of the 2mm hammer milled material through the 0.4mm screen and around 60 seconds to run a ½ pound scoop of the 6mm hammer milled material through the 0.4mm screen. We first ran this material through our Model 198 5.3hp 220v Single Phase Hammer Mill. We then ran this material through our 9" 2-Roller 10hp 220v Three Phase Pellet Mill.

We also ran this material through our Model 198 5.3hp 220v Three Phase Hammer Mill.

The model 230 was not able to process the flax seed with the 0.8mm screen because of the flax seed oil. Initially, it was working, but after a gallon or so of material the screen clogged. We changed to a 1mm screen and achieved positive results with the larger screen. The model 230 was then able to process the flax seed continually.
